at the end of 2 weeks, i dont want to say 'yes, i have done it!' rather, i want to say 'yes god, i've done it with you!'
i have finally found the old post on tracy's blog that i shared about last last week at cg. let em walk
it was in relation to the verse below... Joshua 24:15 (New International Version) 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
have i been too pushy? have i been too intrusive? is it really time to let go and just let it be?
at some point in our lives, we may have been given a chance to choose to have this relationship with god, this chance...wait no. it's an option. the option to choose to come back to god, the option to choose to serve other things, in and of this world.
well, it's clear that we all have the freedom to choose. and on this easter day, i rejoice that someone came to know god and chose god to be his lord and saviour.
yet on this day. i am also reminded of those would knew the love of Easter, and i pray that they will continue to experience it no matter how close or how far are they away from god.
god, i dont want to come to a point that i lose this compassion for those far from you...
