it's funny how we sms weekeong to ask who's turning up and he just says he'll be around. anyhows, i was really glad to see the people making effort and time to turn up for NEJC gathering! Across the dinner table, the guys are at one end talking about posting and NS life, the girls about ministry and all. it was great to just share life and unloading our burdens to each other. haha. i love all you guys! my great loves! limin: thanks for all the sharing!
it's an unspoken sense of love and thanksgiving for this group of 19-year-olds. like there's this something that binds us though we may be ministry, congregation and even islands apart.
on a side note, i got the marie digby cd!
AND i felt compelled to sign up for a facebook account after holding strong to the conviction that i do not need another extensive networking platform and to stick to my old-school friendster, finding no rhyme or reason to spend additional time and effort to house-keep the place. nonetheless, i am in communication studies so... hahha. i got to at least try out this communication tool right? or am i coming up stupid reasons so i seem to be less conformed to the 'culture' there.
