had been a busy weekend for me rushing from places to places. feeling all the ups and downs for at least 3 times
lets talk/blog about saturday first. it's really a pity that i missed service entire because of WKWSCI interview. but god ah... thank you for your directions. after the group interview, my conclusion was that it's really the path you want me to go if i really land a place there. what are the odds of your interviewers giving you a high grade and you leaving a good impression when they both are seemingly uninterested/totally lost in your introduction. mainly because they probably dont know much or are pretty new to the idea of broadcasting media. there was me with 2 interviwers majoring and specialising in journalism as well as 3 other interviwees interested to major in journalism. and i was there with my good and faithful compaq, showing my portfolio for less than 20 sec. me talking alot, full of zest and enthusiasm, and them asking me some off-topic (in my opinion) about my interest in gathering information (trying hard to make some link with their majors) it was hard for me to engage them in some deep thoughts and make connection with them. essentially. interview went bad... but in any case, if i really get into SCI. it's definitely god man. i mean, look at the situation i was placed it. almost everything was against me. to think i slept at 3am to prepare the portfolio and they just flipped through the pages casually just makes me... but it was great to meet many new friends! meiyi, tiff, the ajc girls etc.. and the line up of meeting after service really wore me off. was telling jia i that i was shivering/ trembling abit went i stepped into nexus. i couldnt calm myself down from all the emotional changes and all that travelling to NTU sorry people if you couldnt feel my spirit and went abit kuku during the meetings. thanks for bearing with my nonsense.
sunday started off with me procastinating in bed from 0700 to about 0915 then i started to burn some disc out for steven and sending out smses walked down that some old path and god says...joy went to nexus for unit cg and during worship god dropped a phrase to me...i'm in control. seriously. i dont know what i'm getting myself into because i havent put much thought to it. but i know i want to serve with joy and i know god's in control of every situation. he will make it real.
was questioning myself a little when shuz talked about effectiveness. have i been effective at where i am now... (it's crazy to think about it since i am barely 4 months in the new group) but still, i've been thinking and missing pastoral side greatly i thought it wouldnt be that bad. but i think it's beginning to sink in even greatly after the guys went to NS. june camp would probably be another time where i'll begin to think.not emo okays. i miss AJCG days i miss NEE1 days
when i was walking home after sending the media peeps to the interchange i was reading the slip of paper written my the mm side and i was convicted once again that i want to be genuinely concerned and love these bunch of brothers and sisters. i want to help myself grow and help them grow. that's why i am where i am now and doing what i am doing now. i wont be affected by transfers we're a family of god and it'll be eternity
