it's really a blessing to not be the only christian in the family.really thank god for giving me such a lovely, caring, worded brother!
was sharing with kor about what happened during 2nd service yesterday.
how the sermon ended adruptly.
what message ps jeff was trying to bring across to the 2nd service congregation.
like what ben said. there's really no point continuing, even attending service, cg, if you cant get the whole gist of the whole christianity faith.
i think it was the question about how many intentionaly meet people(pre-believers) up, intentional share testimony and s.o.w that trigger the thought.
'i'll show my faith through my actions'
yes, it's true that God's promises will come to pass.
yes, you believe so.
yes, you got the faith.
so?
turning your faith into practical action is more important.
ps shirley mentioned at the end of the service,
the church exist not for christians, but for non- believers.
be involved.
kor made me think alot,
which i never really did yesterday though i was a little overwhelmed by what happened.
guess it's also pretty much a wake up call for me.
on how much the church really focuses on outreaching.
kor's perspective was different.
yes, outreaching is important.
lost souls are important.
wouldn't Jesus be the best evanglist if He were to outreach?
by why did He had 12 disciples only? not 50, not 100?
but why 12?
i guess He really wanted to build them strong.
knowing that they would be leaders of churches and impact even more people.
He wanted to teach them whole heartedly, with the greatest effort...
then shouldnt we build ourselves, our sheep strong in the word?
2 things that would last- word of God, people's soul...
when Jesus fed the 5000, how many accepted Him?
13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place
23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.
When evening came, he was there alone,
He still took time alone. not hurrying.
kor's church is older than hope.
but in terms of number for youth, only a mere 50.
to build the own members strong is highly regarded.
truthfully, i do not agree outreaching through surveying blah blah.
and also not exactly happy about the over emphasis on numbers.
people do leave hope because of that.
thankfully i managed to understand all that, or else i would have left long ago.
yes, it's not about the numbers- it's a motivational tool.
ultimately is the lost souls.
then when we're s.o.w-ing, it's important to have the right heart attitude ya?
to people out there whom i've invited you for services etc...
yes, i love you that's why i want to share God's love with you :)
