getting lazier to blog.hurs.so this is super not updated.
so...
Is there real demoracy without opposition?
2 seats are better than none.
hougang SMC is still under WP.
dad feels that the WP thinks people staying in condo are less likely to vote for opposition.
so when the van past by today, dad waved vigourously to Mr Low, showing his support for the opposition. i get to vote, hopefully, 5 years later.it would then be a family event since my bro could vote too.
hougang still warmly welcomes eric low(PAP) to contest again.
in the past, when i was still at blk 306, there would be sound of cheers when WP was announced to have won.
because hougang is under opposition, that's why its so special.
hougangers may feel tempted to bite on the 100 million carrot.
but i like hougang as it is.
i lived there for 17 years, 15 years of which is under WP.
coffeechops within 5 mins walk.
that old wet market with nice carrot cake.
the oldness of the place is so homy.
when toa payoh gets too new and upgraded, it feels so concrety.
i hope hougang does not become that way.
16,000++ more people to be persuaded before aljunid falls into opposition party.
not that much, but not that few either.
all the way opposition!
never doubt what the younger generation can do 5 years later.
our rebellious nature might cause the turning of tables.
perhaps ajc's mock election is a scheme....muhahaha.
"who will the younger generation vote?"
there's no harm voting for opposition i guess.
since untimately the govt will be made up of PAPs still.
no doubt the Lees ruled spore well, but some opposition would make democracy more evident.
